Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy a type of bodywork that relieves compression in the bones of the head, sacrum (a triangular bone in the lower back), and spinal column.

CST is noninvasive. It uses gentle pressure on the head, neck, and back to relieve the stress and pain caused by compression. It can, as a result, help to treat a number of conditions.

It’s thought that through the gentle manipulation of the bones in the skull, spine, and pelvis, the flow of cerebrospinal fluid in the central nervous system can be normalized. This removes “blockages” from the normal flow, which enhances the body’s ability to heal. - HL.

Anna Crandlemire

Craniosacral and Reflexology Therapist

I use two gentle, non-invasive modalities to help your body to heal.  You will find a safe, calm, caring environment to rest in during your therapy session.  With skilled intuitive hands, I re-balance your nervous system, release tension and revitalize your body.  Rediscover what it feels like to be deeply relaxed

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle manual therapy that balances tissue tension around the brain and spinal cord in order to enhance the self-corrective mechanisms in the body.  Reflexology works with the reflexes on the feet to stimulate energy and fluid flow in the body, assisting the body to maintain balance in the various body systems.

Both therapies are excellent as a preventative health program.  As a holistic practitioner, I don't treat specific conditions.  However, I often work with clients experiencing stress-related issues, pain syndromes (migraines, neck, back, nerve pain), concussions, memory issues, pre and post surgery, conditions that affect the spine, emotional and physical trauma, etc.
