Applied Neuroscience

Applied neuroscience is the practice of translating brain and nervous system science into real-world tools that help people understand and influence their own mental and physiological patterns. It uses evidence-based methods, such as neurofeedback, to support self-regulation, adaptability, and everyday well-being by working with the brain's natural capacity for change.

Maryam Jam, MSc
Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Neuroscience and is a Certified NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback Trainer

Maryam Jam, Founder of Neur’iix Brain, holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Neuroscience and is a Certified NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback Trainer. Her work is dedicated to helping individuals understand the connection between the brain, nervous system, emotions, and everyday experiences through neuroscience-based tools and non-invasive brain training.

With a strong interest in brain function, neuroplasticity, and nervous system regulation, Maryam uses NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback to support individuals in developing greater awareness of their brain patterns and strengthening their ability to adapt to daily challenges.

NeurOptimal® is an advanced dynamic neurofeedback system that provides real-time feedback from brain activity. Unlike traditional approaches that train the brain toward a specific pattern, NeurOptimal® works with the brain’s natural capacity for self-organization and adaptation. Through repeated feedback sessions, the brain is encouraged to recognize and respond to its own activity more efficiently, supporting the principles of neuroplasticity.

Maryam’s approach focuses on brain training, self-regulation, resilience, relaxation, focus, and overall nervous system balance. She works with individuals of all ages and creates a supportive learning environment where clients can explore how their brain and nervous system respond to stress, emotions, attention, and daily experiences. She believes that education and awareness are powerful tools for supporting lifelong brain health and personal growth.

Maryam provides services in both English and Persian (Farsi), creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Her services are educational and wellness-focused, designed to support brain awareness, self-regulation, and personal growth through neuroscience-informed approaches.
